		RPCC was recently awarded by The Institute for Construction Training and Development (ICTAD).


		RPC Constructions recently opened its office in Bandarawela to carry out road construction.

Location : Sengamum, Arugambay , Sri Lanka

Client : Rotary Club of Colombo

Requirements : Planning, Designing and Construction of 46 single housing units, a Community Centre and related Infrastructure (Water, Electricity, Internal Roads, Drains etc) within the scheme.

Challenges : The site is located in the dry zone. The search of water for the site personnel and for use for site works was a daunting task given the ground conditions. The site is not connected to the national electricity grid nor to the water grid. We have progressed on par with the work schedule.

Schedule : Construction commenced in February 2006 and was completed in December 2006.
